Choose the Group and start date that works best for you.

A gentle body-based programme to help you reconnect with your body, reduce tension, and learn how to safely work with your body’s natural tremor response.
Many of us spend so much time in our heads, thinking, planning, analysing, problem-solving and pushing through, that we can become disconnected from the signals our body is giving us.
You may not notice tension until it becomes painful.
You may not realise how tired you are until you finally stop.
You may be so used to carrying stress that it starts to feel normal.
This four-session online programme is designed to give you time to pause, breathe, move gently and begin listening again.
Through TRE®, body scans and breath work, you will be guided to build a more connected relationship with your body, one that is based on awareness, choice, pacing and kindness rather than pushing through.
Practical tools to move through life with more ease and regulation.
THIS FOUR SESSION PROGRAMME IS FOR YOU IF...

The Body keeps the Score
Even when we’ve moved on mentally, our bodies can still hold the weight of stress, tension, or past experiences.
Somatic practices offer a way to gently release that.
What is TRE?
TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) is a simple, body-based practice that helps release stress, tension, and trauma held in the body, particularly in the deep muscles of the core.
It works by activating the body’s natural tremor response, an involuntary shaking mechanism found in all mammals, designed to help discharge stress from the nervous system.
Created by Dr. David Berceli, TRE helps:
Calm the fight/flight/freeze response
Restore the nervous system to a more balanced state
Relieve physical tension, emotional overwhelm, and stored trauma without needing to talk it through
It’s not about reliving the past, it’s about giving your body a safe space to let go of what it’s been holding onto.

TRE is not about consciously shaking your body on purpose.
If you choose to shake your arms, legs or whole body, that is a voluntary movement.
You are deciding to make it happen.
One of the most common misunderstandings about TRE is that it is simply shaking your body on purpose.
It is not this.
In TRE, we are working with what is known as a neurogenic tremor.
This is an involuntary, body-led tremor response that can arise naturally from within the body.
Dr David Berceli describes, TRE as 7 simple exercises performed in a prescribed sequence to help activate the body’s natural tremor response safely.
These exercises gently work with areas such as the feet, legs, hips, pelvis and lower torso through simple stretching, mobilising and mild muscle activation.
They are not a strenuous workout, and they are not about pushing your body to its limit.
You are not forcing the tremor or trying to make something happen.
You are creating the conditions for the body to respond in its own way, at its own and it can look different for everyone.
For some people, the tremor may feel like gentle shaking.
For others, it may feel like small vibrations, waves, pulsing, stretching, rocking, heat, tingling, or subtle internal movement.
Some people may notice very little at first.
There is no perfect response and no need to perform.
The practice is about listening, allowing and staying connected to your body with choice and care.
TRE is not about reliving the past or needing to talk through painful experiences. It is about giving your body a safe, supported space to begin noticing and reducing patterns of stress, tension and protective holding.
You remain in choice throughout.
You can pause, rest, adjust or stop at any time.
What are Somatic Practices?
The word “somatic” comes from the Greek word soma, meaning “the living body.”
Somatic practices are about listening to and working with the body, not just the mind as a way to heal, regulate, and reconnect with ourselves.
Rather than analysing, we start to feel.
Instead of pushing through, we learn to pause, sense, and respond.
Somatic work helps us:
Notice where stress, tension, or emotion lives in the body
Build body awareness and inner safety
Gently shift patterns like dissociation, overwhelm, or shutdown
Restore connection between body, mind, and heart

These practices are deeply supportive for anyone who feels stuck, numb, reactive, or like they’re “living in their head.”
In this programme, the somatic practices we will use are mindful movement, body meditations and breath work.
I will take you through a body meditation to give you time to pause, reconnect with your body, and notice how you are feeling from the inside.
This may include areas of tension, ease, tiredness, warmth, heaviness, restlessness, numbness or calm.
There is no right or wrong experience.
The practice is simply about beginning to listen.
Breathwork helps you connect with your breath, your body and the present moment. We will use simple breathing practices to support grounding, awareness and connection, rather than forcing the breath or trying to breathe perfectly.
Together, these practices support the TRE process by helping you arrive, listen, pace yourself and integrate what you experience at the end of each session.
What to expect in a Session
The four sessions are held live on Zoom in a small, intimate group of no more than 6 people. You’ll be asked to have your camera on, not to perform, but to help create a sense of connection and shared presence as we move through the programme together.
When we join each session, we will take a few moments to land, breathe, and settle in before we begin. Please aim to arrive on time, so we can settle in together and create a steady, supportive space.
Each 75-minute online session includes:
A short introduction to TRE and somatic practices
Grounding and body awareness to help you feel present and supported
A guided TRE process (standing and lying down) to invite the body’s natural tremor response
Time to rest, reflect, and integrate

You will be given step-by-step guidance through the TRE sequence.
we will aim for 3 short rounds of tremoring with rest breaks between each round so your body has time to pause and settle, and time for a slightly longer integration practice at the end.
The TRE sequence includes seven exercises performed in a prescribed order.
These exercises use gentle stretching, mobilising and mild muscle activation to prepare areas such as the feet, legs, hips, pelvis and lower torso, helping create the conditions for the body’s natural tremor response to begin.
You do not need to be fit, flexible or experienced to take part.
You will be encouraged to follow your own pace, stay connected to your body, and choose what feels right for you in each moment.
The sessions are here to meet you exactly where you are, and there is no 'Good or Bad', 'Right or Wrong' way.
What You’ll Experience Across the 4 Sessions
This four-session introduction is designed to help you learn TRE and somatic awareness in a safe, gentle and supportive way.
Each session follows a familiar rhythm, including a body scan, breathwork, the guided TRE sequence, short rounds of tremoring, rest breaks and integration time.
Session 1: Arriving, Safety and Beginning the Practice
We will begin by gently introducing the foundations of TRE, including what it is, what it is not, and how to work with the body in a safe, grounded and choice-led way.
You will learn how to pause, stop, rest or adjust at any point, before being guided through your first body scan, simple breath work, the TRE sequence and supported tremoring practice.
Highlights:
What TRE is and what it is not
How to stay in choice throughout the practice
Why safety, pacing and integration matter
Your first guided experience of the TRE sequence and tremoring practice
Session 2: Stress, Holding Patterns and the Breath
This session explores how stress and tension can show up in the body, and how the breath can support awareness, grounding and connection.
We’ll continue to build familiarity with the TRE sequence, incorporating breath throughout the practice so you can stay connected to your body as you move, tremor, rest and integrate.
Highlights:
How stress can show up physically
How your breath may change when you feel busy, tense or overwhelmed
Using breath to support grounding and body awareness
Continuing to build confidence with the TRE sequence
Session 3: Pacing, Choice and Self-Regulation
In this session, we’ll focus on pacing and learning to work with your body rather than pushing through it.
You’ll explore how to notice your body’s signals, recognise when to continue or pause, and understand why doing less can sometimes be the most supportive choice.
Highlights:
How to listen to your body’s signals
Why pacing matters in TRE and somatic work
How to pause, adjust or stop when needed
How self-regulation can begin with small moments of awareness
Session 4: Integration and Continuing the Practice
In the final session, we will bring everything together and reflect on what you have noticed across the programme.
You’ll be guided through the full practice again, with time to consider how you can continue using TRE and somatic awareness safely and gently beyond the four sessions.
Highlights:
Reflecting on what you have noticed across the programme
Building confidence in your ongoing TRE practice
Recognising subtle shifts in your body and nervous system
Learning how to continue with safety, choice and pacing

.Learn how to safely access and work with your body’s natural tremor response.

A little bit about Me...

Hi, I’m Claire. I’m a trauma-informed body therapist, somatic practitioner, certified TRE® provider, and also a relationship and intimacy coach.
What all of that really means is…I help people come back into connection with themselves, gently, naturally, and in a way that feels safe.
This kind of work found me at a time in my life when I was holding too much. Stress, grief, survival-mode living, it was all there. And what helped wasn’t talking more or trying harder. It was learning how to slow down. To listen. To trust my body again.
Now I get to share that with others and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
In these sessions, there’s no pressure to explain or get it right. You’re not expected to push through anything. It’s simply an invitation to slow down and tune into what’s really going on inside.
This is a space where your body gets to feel safe again.
Where you can breathe a little deeper.
Where you can begin to let go without needing to have all the answers.
And doing that as part of a small group? That’s where something really powerful happens. Even when we’re just quietly sharing space, there’s this reminder: you’re not doing this alone.
You don’t need to be “ready”, you just need to know that something in you is ready for something softer, something that honours your pace, your process, and YOU!

TESTIMONIALS
"I’ve done a lot of things to manage stress, but this was different. Claire has such a calming presence I felt safe straight away. By the end of the session, my whole body felt softer, like I could finally exhale. It’s hard to explain… something just shifted.”
"Since practising TRE I have noticed huge changes in my mental and emotional health which has in turn helped to reduce my physical symptoms of stress and anxiety. My life is still immensely stressful but TRE gives me an inner calmness I have never had before. For something that takes only a few minutes to do the benefits are long lasting."
If group sessions aren't for you...
If you’d feel more comfortable exploring this work on an individual basis, I also offer one-to-one introductory sessions online.
These are gentle, supportive sessions tailored just for you, ideal if you’re feeling unsure, new to somatic work, or simply prefer a quieter environment to begin. We’ll take our time, and there’s no rush or pressure to get it “right.”
You’ll be guided through the same foundational practices we use in the group sessions, with plenty of space for questions, reflection, and support at your own pace.
If this feels like a better fit, you’re welcome to book a free call to chat.
We’ll talk about what you’re looking for and whether 1:1 support is right for you.

Is TRE® and somatic practices a form of therapy?
TRE® and Somatic Practices are not talk therapy or a replacement for psychotherapy, counselling, or medical treatment. It’s a body-based method to help regulate the nervous system and release tension and trauma. I am not a trauma therapist, but I am trauma-informed and guide you with safety, choice, and care.
Are there any situations where TRE® might not be suitable, especially in a group setting?
TRE® and somatic practices are natural and generally safe practices, but there are times when extra care is needed. To make sure the practice is right for you, please let me know if you:
Are currently pregnant
Have had recent surgery or are still in physical recovery
Live with uncontrolled epilepsy
Have a serious heart condition
Are experiencing a severe or unstable mental health condition
This does not mean TRE® and somatic practices isn't for you, it simply helps us decide whether a group session is appropriate right now, or if a 1-1 session would offer more support and safety while you begin.
What if I don't feel the tremors from TRE® right away, does that mean its not working?
Not at all. Everyone's body responds differently. Some people tremor in their first session, others take longer as the body learns it's safe to let go. Even without visible shaking, your body is learning to down regulate stress and build trust. These sessions are not about performance, its about listening, softening and allowing.
How many sessions will I need to attend?
Do I need to attend all four sessions? Yes. This programme is designed as a four-session series, and attending all four sessions is an important part of the experience.
Each session builds on the last, helping you gradually develop confidence and practical skill in working with TRE and somatic practices safely and independently.
Across the four sessions, you’ll learn how to:
gently activate and regulate your natural tremor response
ground and settle your nervous system
recognise your own cues and limits
begin using TRE as a self-led practice at home
Because this is a small, closed group, showing up consistently also supports the sense of safety, familiarity, and shared learning within the group.
Committing to all four sessions supports:
your own learning and integration
the development of a steady, embodied practice
the group container as a whole
Do I need to talk about my stress or past trauma during the sessions?
No. You never have to share more than you are comfortable with TRE® and somatic practices are body based practices, you can release physical and emotional stress without needing to retell or relive painful experiences.
Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
